The personal data we collect
Depending on how you deal with us, we may collect and process the following:

- Property and site information, such as your property address, roof details, photographs taken during a survey, electrical layout, and details of any existing solar, battery, EV charging or heating equipment.
- Energy and metering data, such as your MPAN, electricity usage figures, tariff details and supplier information, where this is needed to design or size a system.
- System design and project data, including survey notes, design drawings, equipment schedules and information needed for Distribution Network Operator (DNO) and G99 applications.
- Financial information, such as billing and payment details, and information needed where finance or a funded option is involved.
- Correspondence, including emails, messages, call records and notes of conversations with you.
- Website data, such as information collected through cookies and similar technologies when you use our website.
We do not generally seek to collect special category data. Where any sensitive information is relevant, for example a health or accessibility consideration affecting an installation, we will only use it where you have given clear consent or where the law otherwise allows.
How we collect your data
We collect personal data directly from you, during surveys and project work, from your energy supplier or network operator where needed and authorised, from introducers, funders or partner contractors involved in your project, and automatically through our website.
Why we use your data and our lawful basis
- To respond to enquiries and provide quotations. Lawful basis: legitimate interests and taking steps before entering into a contract.
- To survey, design, supply, install and commission systems, and to handle planning, DNO and G99 applications on your behalf. Lawful basis: contract or pre-contract steps.
- To arrange finance or funded options where relevant. Lawful basis: contract and consent where required.
- To register equipment for manufacturer warranties and to meet certification and notification requirements. Lawful basis: contract and legal obligations.
- To meet legal and regulatory obligations, including accounting, tax, building regulations and electrical safety notification. Lawful basis: legal obligation.
- To manage our relationship with you, including aftercare, servicing and dealing with any issues. Lawful basis: contract and legitimate interests.
- To send marketing about our products and services, where permitted. Lawful basis: consent or legitimate interests. You can opt out at any time.
- To keep our records accurate, protect our business and pursue or defend legal claims. Lawful basis: legitimate interests and legal obligations.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we balance those interests against your rights and only proceed where we consider it fair to do so.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with subcontractors and partner contractors, Distribution Network Operators, metering parties, manufacturers, suppliers, finance and funding providers, certification and accreditation bodies, regulators, professional advisers and IT, software and cloud service providers where needed and under appropriate safeguards.
Enquiry forms on this website are processed by Web3Forms, a form submission service that transmits your enquiry to our email inbox. Web3Forms processes the data you enter into a form solely for the purpose of delivering your enquiry to us and does not use it for its own purposes. You can alternatively contact us directly by email if you prefer not to use the forms.
International transfers
We aim to keep your personal data within the UK. Some IT or cloud providers may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as a UK adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes set out in this policy and to meet legal and regulatory obligations.
- Enquiries that do not lead to a contract are normally kept for up to 24 months.
- Customer and project records are normally kept for the duration of the relationship and then for up to 10 years to cover warranty, aftercare, tax, insurance and limitation periods.

- Warranty and certification records may be kept for the relevant warranty period plus up to six years.
When we no longer need your data, we securely delete or anonymise it.
